A room that disappears when the movie starts

A great home theater is more than a big screen. We start with the room, seating distance, light control, and acoustics, then choose the display, projector, and speaker layout that deliver a sharp picture and full, even sound from every seat.

As a licensed C-7 low-voltage contractor, we handle wiring, mounting, calibration, and control, then hand you one simple remote so the whole system turns on with a single button.

Size It Right

How Big Should the Screen Be?

Screen size follows how far you sit, here's the rule of thumb we design to.

Up to 9 ft55 to 65 in

Close seating in a den or bonus room keeps a mid-size TV sharp and comfortable.

9 to 12 ft75 to 85 in

The living-room sweet spot for a big-screen TV that fills the wall without strain.

12 to 16 ft100 to 120 in

Dedicated rooms move to projection for a true, wall-filling cinema image.

16 ft and up120 in and up

Large theaters and outdoor setups call for laser projection and a big screen.

Home Theater FAQ

Home Theaters, Answered

The questions we hear most when planning a theater.

Projector or big-screen TV?
It depends on the room. For dedicated, light-controlled rooms with longer viewing distances, a projector gives a true cinema image. For brighter, everyday rooms, a large 4K TV stays punchy without dimming the lights. We help you pick based on your space.
Do I need a dedicated room?
No. We build full experiences in living rooms, bonus rooms, and lofts as easily as in dedicated theaters. A dedicated room just gives us more control over light and acoustics for a reference-level result.
How many speakers do I actually need?
Anywhere from a clean 3.1 setup to a full immersive layout with in-ceiling height channels. We match the speaker count to the room and your budget so the sound stays even from every seat.
Can everything run from one remote?
Yes. We program a single remote or app so one button dims the lights, powers the screen and sound, and selects your source. No stack of remotes.
Will the wiring and speakers be hidden?
Wherever possible, yes. As a licensed low-voltage contractor we run cable in-wall and in-ceiling and use in-wall or flush-mount speakers for a clean, finished look.
Do you calibrate the picture and sound?
Every install. We calibrate the display and tune the audio to the room so colors are accurate and the sound is balanced, not just loud.
